Digital Forensics Specialist (TS/SCI clearance required)

We are looking to hire a Hardware Specialist to support our Gov’t customer in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities:

Conduct hard drive imaging and data recovery
Extract on board chips and diagnose chip activity separate from operating systems or boards
Identify security vulnerabilities in chip functionality based on diagnosis
Extract firmware from on board chips or from chips that have been removed and analyzed
Conduct and apply proper techniques for non-heat chip removal
Conduct pros and cons of physical manipulation caused by heat or friction removal techniques

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience
Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain CI Poly
Must be able to commute on-site 5 days a week to Reston, VA.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in STEM field
Experience with newest BGA chip pinout layouts
Experience with tools and techniques for chip off extraction; ISP/Chip off; JTAG Chip off
Experience with SSD, 3D Flash Technology, PC-3000 Flash/Monolith data recovery
Experience with advanced data recovery and drone forensic analysis
