Junior All-Source Analyst (Production) - Exciting Opportunity at USCYBERCOM

Key Responsibilities:
  1. All-Source Analysis: Utilize your expertise in intelligence analysis to conduct research, evaluation, and deconfliction of multiple sources of classified reporting, technical intrusion information, finished intelligence from other agencies, open-source information, and relevant data. Your comprehensive analysis will provide invaluable insights into cyber threats and malware, helping identify trends and changes in the activities of cyber adversaries.
  2. Adherence to Analytic Standards: Uphold the highest standards of analytic tradecraft and adhere to the guidelines set by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Your meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established standards will ensure the accuracy and reliability of your work.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with counterparts in the Intelligence Community, USCYBERCOM service components, combatant commands, Cyber National Mission Force, Department of Homeland Security/NCSD, CERTS, and Information Assurance Centers. Collaborate on analysis and identify changes in the cyber environment as directed by USCYBERCOM leadership and government sponsors.
  4. Knowledge Base Management: Stay updated on events within U.S. government systems and internationally to identify potential relationships and expand the organization's knowledge base. Your awareness of current cyber events will enhance the effectiveness of our intelligence analysis and enable proactive threat detection.
  5. Intelligence Support: Provide vital intelligence support in various areas, including:
a. Intelligence Support to Planning and Operations: Contribute to offensive and defensive cyber operations (OCO/DCO) planning and execution through all-source Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE). Produce cyber-related Intelligence Estimates and associated products, directly supporting Intelligence Planning Teams (IPTs).
b. Threat Trends and Indicators: Produce informative bulletins and briefs highlighting changes in cyber threats, including tactics, techniques, procedures (TTP), and technical trends. Monitor threat activities and develop specific cyber indicators to strengthen the defense Warning Program.
c. Cyber-Related Exercise Support: Assist in scenario development, white cell operations, or role playing for cyber-related exercises, contributing to the realism and effectiveness of training.
d. USCYBERCOM Staff Support: Respond promptly to requests for information from USCYBERCOM staff, demonstrating your agility and ability to deliver accurate intelligence support.
e. Product Development: Collaborate in the production, editing, publishing, and dissemination of clear, concise, timely, and relevant cyber analytic products.
f. Briefing: Develop and deliver intelligence slides, in-depth briefings, and presentations related to your assigned area of responsibility to USCYBERCOM staff up to the general/flag officer level.
Qualifications:
  • Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI polygraph, or the ability to obtain polygraph prior to the start date.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of intelligence experience.
  • Possession of a certificate of completion or verified work experience/coursework equivalent to the skills outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01 for IAT level 1 or IAM level 1.
  • Cyber-related Bachelor's degree and some relevant experience; or no degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in intelligence production tools and databases, including but not limited to Tripwire Analytic Capability, Intellipedia, Palantir, MIDB, Cyber Common Operating Picture (CyberCOP), Target Knowledge Base, Cyber Threat Matrix, Automated Message Handling System, WISE Information Management System, Network Knowledge Base, FoxTrail, CENTAUR, ispace, Pathfinder, and Microsoft OneNote.
