Job Title: Virtualization Engineer II
Job Location: MacDill AFB, Florida
Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued: Secret
Due to the nature of the work and US Government required, US Citizenship is required.
Trace Systems is seeking a cleared Virtualization Engineer II to join our team based on-site at MacDill AFB, FL. The Virtualization Engineer will also support alternate duty location during COOP.
Support is generally Monday through Friday between 0630-1730. Additionally, occasional on-call support may be required on a rotating basis.
Provide engineering support for virtual servers, networks, and VDI.
Develop, test, troubleshoot, and implement virtual system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, memory usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
Perform RMF/systems security administration/hardening functions, including creating user profiles and accounts on virtual hardware platforms.
Develop and maintain virtual hardware platforms system configuration baselines.
Configure administrator accounts, tuning system performance, and installing system wide software and allocate mass storage.
Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
