Job Description

We are seeking experienced, customer-oriented Account Executives to join our Sales team. 

These Account Executives will report directly to the Director of Sales.  You will work closely with the company's technical solutions, services and extended sales team to identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities to expand their body of work within the US Government.  We are looking for candidates with expertise in Civilian Agencies and the Intelligence community.  However, we are open to qualified candidates in other areas also.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential opportunities and grow the business in two key areas:
    • Product solutions
    • Service solutions
  • Develops new accounts and expands existing accounts within the account territory based upon corporate goals and objectives; technical offerings; corporate experience; familiarity with customer and known contacts; and market competitors
  • Manage relationships with manufacturers in the IT industry
  • Develop and or maintain relationships with identified clients
  • Monitor customer policies and trends; amend call plan/relationship management approach per customer changes
  • Ready to think differently, learn, and embrace new methodologies, constantly look for solutions to problems, and how to solve business pains
  • Participate in routine business growth planning and strategizing with Leadership
  • Manage pipeline of opportunities; participate in routine pipeline briefings and gate reviews
  • Attend industry days, conferences, and other business development events; network with current and potential clients and team members, gather leads for potential opportunities, and represent the company and its offerings
  • Contribute to proposal responses: develop storyboards; collaborate with solution architects to develop win strategies and solutions that address customer pain points

  • 5+ years of experience evangelizing enterprise technology
  • 3+ years of recent and relevant customer experience; maintains positive relationships and reputation
  • Recognized as advanced individual contributor with mastery of sales techniques
  • Technical experience/expertise in IT, Networks, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture and implementation of services
  • Solutions selling experience
  • Manufacturer relationships
  • Knowledge of innovative technologies including but not limited to Software Defined Networking (SDN), zero trust (ZT), secure access service edge (SASE)
  • High school degree or work-experience equivalent
  • Proven record of winning business of $3M or more
  • Experience directly supporting proposal development and response (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, TOs)
  • Is a team player
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Able to travel (as required for account territory)


Preferred Qualification

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or similar area of study
  • Located in Washington DC area or close to primary customers
  • Knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions
  • Secret or Top Secret Clearance or able to obtain one

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
