Roles and Responsibilities
This Lead Salesforce Business Analyst will work to help analyze, define, and document requirements to translate customer needs into Salesforce technology solutions. Southpoint is looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy problem-solving, thinking creatively, and are interested in growing their business analysis and technical skills set in a fast-paced collaborative team environment. Work location is in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Specific Duties
  • Lead sessions to collaborate with customers to define the business requirements to meet the end users’ needs.
  • Develop and document user stories with acceptance criteria, as-is/to-be process flows as part of the requirements and design processes.
  • Produce proposed solutions architectures
  • Implement configuration tasks per agreed upon design specifications.
  • Facilitate key meetings with clients and end users such as requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, or end user training.
  • Assist with the identification and analysis of bug fixes/ issues.
  • Participate in defining system integration and user-acceptance test plans.
  • Create user guides and system configuration documentation.
  • Execute client communication, including various written communications, to include one-on-one client conversations.
  • Create customer status reports per contract requirements.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in gathering and documenting requirements.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience configuring and handling complex processes with Flow and Process Builder required.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required. Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to think critically and effectively communicate in a team environment.
  • Masters Degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient experience working with Microsoft Office.
  • US citizenship required.
 Preferred Experience
  • 8+ years of business process analysis and modeling experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Expert in software development lifecycles and methodologies including DevOps or agile delivery models, Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with JIRA.

Additional Information:

Southpoint Consulting relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and organizational and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $145,000 to $160,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents a typical salary range and is just one component of Southpoint’s total compensation package.
