The Defense Enclave Services (DES) contract provides Information Technology (IT) Operations and Maintenance (Sustainment), network modernization, and migration services for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to deliver a single digital enterprise that establishes a modern infrastructure foundation and unified architecture required to deliver cohesive combat support capabilities to the warfighter.

Clearance Requirement:  Secret

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain features and iteratively deploy services using Infoblox’s cloud-based architecture.

• Recommend ways to improve system reliability, efficiency, and quality.

• Stay up to date on key trends, especially in the area of Cloud Platforms and networking solutions.

• Investigating and diagnosing of incidents and problems relating to DDI (Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and related services.

• Working with the Government lead and other service areas’ Architecture, Engineering & Operations leads and technical specialists, as well as professional services and staff from vendors to implement the plan to deliver a strategic DDI platform and migrate all in-scope services from existing platforms.

• Self-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervision.

• Anticipating potential problems and acting to minimize the impact they may have on the project or unit.

• Ability to collaborate with different technology towers to achieve common goals.

• Defining the capacity and performance standards, metrics and thresholds and helping build the instrumentation to effectively manage the environment.

• prepare and validate equipment configurations for new installations, troubleshoot network issues, and assess the overall health of the Infoblox infrastructure.

• Implementation, integration, and migration planning

• Lead and provide technical oversight of troubleshooting calls for both a compute issues and network issues as it relates to compute.

• Working knowledge of the DoD DISA compute and infrastructure environment.

• Deployment and maintenance of a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

• Experience with IT Enterprise Operations; working knowledge of Network, Systems/Compute, and User Support Operations.

• Demonstrated success in multi-tasking, self-assigning work, and functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
