Infosec Program Manager - Washington DC

A key client of ours has a need for a strong IT Security Program Manager who will provide program and project management support for a highly complex project with multiple teams supporting a Federal agency.  This is a highly visible project within the Cyber Security Practice group with significant opportunities for growth. Client is the prime on this project and has been on the Contract for 6 years. Position requires a Top Secret clearance (we can hold higher clearances). Location is Washington DC, SW (Fed Center Metro).

Responsibilities:

  • The Program Manager will oversee the performance of all contract tasks by project personnel
  • Team is comprised of  30-40 people (mostly ISSOs) all supporting local area end client system owners
  • Direct and monitor the performance of day-to-day program/project activities
  • Serve as the primary POC for all contract delivery activities
  • Must have an Information Assurance (IA) background and be conversant with A&A packages.
  • Coordinate with customer management and project resources to communicate the status of program objectives and activities, and to proactively resolve issues and problems as they arise
  • Enhance project processes and develop new processes working in close conjunction with established team leads, the client, and relevant stakeholders
  • Perform time tracking and reporting, on-boarding and off-boarding of personnel, resource planning, status reporting, and administrative oversight
  • Coordinate peer reviews of project deliverables
  • Perform final quality reviews of project deliverables prior to customer delivery

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, 15 years of overall experience of which at least 5 years of experience leading and supporting information security efforts
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and achieve measurable results
  • Demonstrated experience as a program manager of a contract with at least 10 staff
  • Demonstarted successes maturing program processes to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Active Secret level security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP strongly preferred
  • CISSP (or Associate CISSP), CISM, CAP, GSLC, or CASP certification desired
  • Experience managing subcontractors
