We have 2 IA roles and both are at the Washington Navy Yard (20003).

1) Sr IA Officer:
Required 
* Active Secret Clearance 
* DoD-approved Information Assurance baseline certification at Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program). 

Desired 
* 10+ years of experience in Information Assurance providing IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers or directly for Navy/DoD. 

Ideal candidate will possess the following experience;
  • Supporting Information Assurance tasks at certification level III in accordance with DoD Instruction 8570.01 (DoD Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).
  • Ensuring compliance with DoD, Navy, and NAVSEA cybersecurity requirements, and FISMA.
  • Providing IT system managers DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process guidance and support
  • Providing reviews of DIACAP and RMF packages prior submission.
  • Tracking DIACAP C&A and RMF A&A systems across a complex infrastructure.
  • Interfacing with IT system owners to ensure FISMA compliance
  • Leading enterprise compliance with DoDI 8500.01 (Cybersecurity), DoDI 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT)), and DoDI 8570.01 (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program) requirements.
  • Experience supporting the transition from DIACAP to RMF.
2) IA Technician:
  • 7+ years of experience in Information Assurance providing IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers or directly for Navy/DoD.
  • Computing Environment (CE) certifications for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices supported, as required by SEA 05, in accordance with the statement of work.
Ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
  • Supporting IAT tasks at certification level II in accordance with DoD Instruction 8570.01 (DoD Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).
  • Ensuring compliance DoD, Navy, and NAVSEA network cybersecurity requirements, and FISMA.
  • Maintaining continuous monitoring of cybersecurity controls for managed networks, in accordance with current DIACAP and future RMF policies.
  • Maintaining compliance with DoD 8570.01 requirements for 100% IA certified personnel working on DoD networks.
  • Reporting and providing mitigation plans for non-compliant networks.
  • Performing network administration functions including software application support, application installation and troubleshooting, and user support such as password resets and application support.
  • Performing network auditing tasks such as security control scans, system patches, and artifact maintenance.
