Call for Software & Systems Engineers - Space systems

We are looking for several technical professionals to support a space systems project in Albuquerque, NM (87106). Space systems experienced desired but not required. Us citizenship and ability to obtain a clearance is required. If already cleared we can hold clearances up to a TS/SCI.
These are full time W2 employee positions with full benefits.

Positions as follows:

1) S/W Developer
Must have proven skills in the following:
  • Proficient in Linux/VxWorks and Linux embedded environments
  • Experience with embedded real-time C++ development
  • All phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit test, integration, and verification.
  • Comfortable with threaded programming
  • Hardware-Software integration.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others and develop solutions to software issues
2) Configuration Manager

Monitor, track, and control the various baselines through-out the system engineering life-cycle to include hardware and software end items. Candidate will monitor, track and control the Design To, Build To, As Built, and As Deployed baselines for hardware and software end items associated with spacecraft engineering. Activities include identification, audit, control, status, tracking and reporting. 

Develop CM functions and processes to include updating data repositories and tools as appropriate. Verify that updates to the CM data are completed within the appropriate amount of time as needed by the Project Manager. Compile and maintain all CM documentation in support of operational CM functions. Provide CM related data and planning support to other functional and organizational areas such as management and operational support areas.

3) Systems Integration and Test Engineer
Candidate will work in a team environment to support the planning and execution of the integration and test of a technology demonstration weather satellite through-out the systems engineering life cycle. Responsibilities include developing system I&T plans and procedures for complex spacecraft system; performing systems integration and acceptance testing, developing verification plans and procedures for various levels of integration requirements; executing formal system tests, analyzing and reporting the results; communicating with stakeholders such as systems engineers, test engineers, product team members, external contractors, project members, and customers concerning test plans, test procedures, operational system issues and readiness levels.
Integration and test activities may include readiness campaigns, operational integration and transitioning, ground integration support, risk reduction test activities, readiness evaluation for milestone events, support for acceptance testing, software builds and integration, and subject matter expertise support post launch.
