Machine Learning Engineer

*REMOTE*, Virginia

We is working on a project that tackles the problem of artificial intelligence integration to an existing product. As an ML developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions in our product. Your expertise in AI/ML algorithms, machine learning, and data analysis will play a crucial role in delivering intelligent systems that improve our flagship software product, ITPIE. You will be responsible to ensure the successful integration of AI/ML models into our existing software and assist in delivering expert systems through AI/ML technologies.

3.3 Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI/ML models, algorithms, and applications to solve specific problems

  • Enhance LLM with retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and external databases

  • Collaborate with existing team members to preprocess and analyze large datasets

  • Work with subject matter experts to build out training/testing datasets

  • Implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms and frameworks

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologies

  • Document code, algorithms, and processes for future references

  • Integrate AI/ML models into production systems

Things we really need

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C#

  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks

  • Experience in AI/ML libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch

  • An understanding of large language models

  • United States citizenship

  • 8+ years of experience with at least 4 years of ML-related experience

Things we want too

  • Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques

  • Familiarity with Cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and offerings

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Things that are extra cool

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field

  • Familiarity with network and server device configurations

  • Familiarity with Linux environments
