All Source Intelligence Analyst (MIDB- TS/SCI clearance required)

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for experienced Order of Battle (OOB) analysts to join our dynamic team at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). As an OOB Analyst, you will play a crucial role in expanding and updating the current MIDB data records, ensuring the accurate representation of the world's telecommunications and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) installations and facilities. Responsibilities:
  • Expand and update the existing MIDB data records: Utilize your expertise in all-source analysis to uncover and document the latest infrastructure related to telecommunications and C4I installations and facilities worldwide. Through comprehensive research and data analysis, you will create accurate and up-to-date records within the MIDB.
  • Maintain and update C4I MIDB records: Comply with DIA's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the C4I Foreign Product Assessment (FPA), DIA Analysis and Dissemination Office (ADO), and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 and 206 sourcing, analysis, and production standards. Your meticulous approach will ensure the ongoing accuracy and relevance of the C4I MIDB records, telecommunications installations, facilities, and networks.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office: Demonstrated experience in utilizing Microsoft Office tools to effectively analyze and present data is essential for this role.
  • Expertise with Order of Battle Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB): In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with MIDB are vital to excel in this position. Your familiarity with MIDB's functionalities and ability to leverage its features will be crucial in expanding and updating data records.
  • Familiarity with the DoD, wider IC, and PACOM: A strong understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD), broader Intelligence Community (IC), and the Pacific Command (PACOM) will enable you to contextualize your analysis effectively and contribute to the overall mission.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam: To work in this role, you must hold an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance and be open to undergoing a polygraph examination.
  • High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience: Candidates with a blend of education and experience will be considered for this position. You should possess either a High School Diploma or GED along with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience as an all-source intelligence analyst: If you have extensive experience as an all-source intelligence analyst, it will further strengthen your candidacy for this position.
  • Knowledge of GEOINT Systems: Familiarity with Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) systems and their applications will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Asia Pacific culture, military, religion, foreign policy, or politics: Having knowledge of the Asia Pacific region, including its culture, military landscape, religion, foreign policy, or politics, will provide valuable insights for your analysis.
  • Understanding of the intelligence cycle: A solid understanding of the intelligence cycle and its various stages will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to intelligence analysis efforts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills are essential to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively. Your ability to build relationships and work cohesively in a team environment will be highly valued.
